Paris (75)Construction of the new element providing a new identity for the Forum des Halles housing:
- A "culture" center with conservatory, library, cafe of the 21st century, literature café, space for young and creative minds,
- A "metropolitan services" center with tickets for shows and museums, a youth branch, a tourist office,
- An "environment and well-being" center with a village of flavors and a wellness area.
The project includes a construction of a glass roof over the entire Forum, crossing the crater without intermediate supports.
An architectural canopy, which mimics that of trees in a garden, above the premises. The overall material is a glass composite with transparent, translucent or opaque elements according to their purpose.
The project includes the construction of public facilities and commercial spaces on an area of 14.000 m².
